Smash Mouth has shared a photo of a letter mailed to the band, along with a Smash Mouth CD that’s been, well, smashed. It’s hard to make out the contents of the letter — aside from some strong words like “kills” and “motherfuckers” — but it seems related to the band’s recent packed show at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, where audience members disregarded social distancing and didn’t wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new Transformers movie just got a little more bearable. The Wrap reports that comedian T.J. Miller (She’s Out of My League, Yogi Bear) has joined the cast of Michael Bay’s latest robot thing, called Transformers 4 and starring Mark Wahlberg. Miller will be playing Wahlberg’s best friend, a mechanic who we presume will be a “wisecracking mechanic.” Miller is currently filming his first starring role in a movie, director Scot Armstrong’s Search Party, which finds him playing one of three leads alongside Adam Pally (Happy Endings) and Thomas Middleditch (The Campaign), and a pilot for Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley-set sitcom that he starred in was recently ordered to series by HBO.
